MADDY HORTON
Therapy Aide + Admin Assistant
Maddy is in her third year of university at the U of M where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology. Maddy also loves her role as an educational assistant, this is the path that showed her that she has a true passion for working with children.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, coach basketball, and spend time with her four rescue dogs.
GRACE KOOISTRA
Therapy Aide
Grace grew up in Emo, Ontario, and went to Sioux Center, Iowa, to earn her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science at Dordt University. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Physiotherapy at U of M. She previously worked alongside Carrie in Fort Frances at Giishgandaago’ikwe Health Services as OT & PT Assistant. She discovered a love for working with kids and incorporating fun into therapy!
Her favourite way to unwind is to spend time at the lake; fishing, swimming, or paddle boarding. Her golden retriever, Blue, also likes to join her in those activities!
REBECCA ZDRILL
Therapy Aide
Rebecca received her Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant diploma from CDI College in 2020 and has been a rehabilitation assistant for four years, primarily working in schools with children! She now works part time in a long term care facility and is enjoying the diversity of working with seniors and with children through CTC.
She is currently studying Bachelor of Arts at University of Manitoba and in her spare time enjoys playing ringette, making arts and crafts and loves cats (especially her own cat, Angel).
